"Island Style" Keyboard: Nuff Said

Here at Woot we wade through a lot of product features, and it can become a bit benumbing at times. Is that the latest Intel processor? What's the power supply on that desktop again? Does it matter? Does anything matter? But then a feature will come along like a shining beacon in the night.

Enter this Asus 15.6" i5 laptop with an "Island Style" keyboard.

The imagination simply boggles at the possibility. Does the Island Style keyboard feature a "Mai Tai" button? Does the "End" button add "y'know, mon" to the end of whichever sentence you're writing? Does it have a "midday nap in a hammock" option instead of the standard "sleep" button? Not to say this isn't a great computer in its own right, up to almost any task you throw at it with a powerful i5 Intel processor and 8GB of multitasking RAM. It's just that the Island Style keyboard really sets it apart.

Who knows, maybe it's a bit more abstract. Maybe things just move a bit slower on the Island Style keyboard. Maybe it's more of a way of life than a particular suite of features. You know somebody's been working on an Island Style keyboard when the wrinkles in their forehead smooth out, and they swim through life with a certain ease.
