Simple, simple, simple! Good mag strength. Thin. Easy to use. Snap on, to charge.
By S. James on Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2026
Possibly the easiest-to-use product that we’ve ever purchased. Unpacked the box, immediately snapped it (magnetically) onto the back of a phone, just to quickly give it a try. The charger only had a tiny bit of charge available in it, though it turned on immediately and the phone showed proof-of-life as it began to charge, right away. It rapidly added +3% of battery life into a high-capacity-battery phone in just a few minutes. The individual reported that the charger was somewhat noticeable (due to the added weight) yet surprisingly comfortable to have the snapped-on charger connected to the phone while they continued using it during the proof-of-concept test. There are good MagSafe ring and orientation magnets built into the device. Our phones have standard cases on them (regular depth, with kickstands), so the Qi charging took place right through the cases. That was pleasing, reassuring. We very much like the convenience. The intention is to keep some of these in the cars so that they’re ‘grab-and-go’ ready/available when touring or traveling or shopping or walking impromptu trails. Also to keep one in-pocket or purse for ‘emergency’ use if we (or someone around us) might suddenly develop phone battery anxiety. (For offering to other people while out and about, if they have a MagSafe-capable phone, you should see their eyes light up with how easy it is to instantly evaporate their low-battery stress (snap onto their phone, phone begins to charge nearly-instantly, watch the anxiety melt away . . it’s actually very cool to see that). If they don’t have Qi charging capabilities or if they have a monster-thick phone case that might block Qi charging but their phone does have a USB-C charging port, they’re in luck too — the strap quickly transforms into a USB-C charging cable. <insert trophy here!> …And, for the price, if they want to keep it, so be it. We can move on with our day, not tethered to a stranger while they continue to charge their phone.) @ Charging: We purchased multiple of these, so drained a couple of them down to 0% to test the charging cycle. It took about an hour to go from 0% up to ~26% (which is when the first of the four lights stays on and the second of the four lights begins to blink (Each of the lights, when on solidly, indicates ~25% of the charger’s battery reserves, with 4ea solid lights denoting that the charger is ~100% charged, or “at full-capacity”.). Then ~:40 minutes for “~51%+ ‘second light solid, third light blinking’”. Then ~:40 minutes for the “~76%+ ‘third light solid, fourth/last light blinking’”. And then, almost like predictable clockwork: ~:40 minutes for the fourth light to stop blinking and go solid. .:.~100% charged in right around 2ea hours of time (using ~2Amp USB-C chargers). Nice: There was just a little bit of warmth (lightly noticeable) while charging the charger. Mostly very cool to the touch, and less warmth than we’d expected. Notes: The unit itself charges via a USB-C input (cable included, which doubles as a really cool handle/strap (and is already assembled/attached when it arrives, which was a particularly nice bonus)). Wish list: It’s somehow mindblowing, though possibly due to necessity (to keep the unit as small and lightweight as possible), that the wireless charger itself doesn’t charge up wirelessly. <smh?> *That* would be maximally convenient. (Requires being plugged into a USB-C charger (of >1Amp) to charge, meaning that it can’t be left in the Qi charger in the car or in the home or office . . it has to be plugged in to charge it. This may also be a Standard, as we’ve not yet found any wireless chargers that charge wirelessly.) The nicely-sized manual that is included with the kit is written in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, so is very convenient as well. (There are one or two interesting mis-translations in there that are a bit funny to read <lol>, though it seems mostly spot-on and is quite informational. (If the manufacturer is reading this, please see page 5 of 8: Not sure that ‘horse lamp’ is what is meant there, in the ‘battery level indicator’ section. ;^)) @ Use: When you get these, be sure to charge them before they’re needed, and allow the ~2 hours of time to let them charge fully. Once charged, you’re golden. .:.Very pleased with these! and glad to have the exceptional portability and ease of use. These are much easier to carry, manage, and use than any other portable battery pack chargers that we have. Hands-down, bar-none. The rapid magnetic attachment, the extremely logical ‘automatic on / charge phone right away’ feature, the “how much power is left in the charger?” lighted indicators, the ability to share with anyone who needs it and to have them know exactly what to do with it (native operation) . . all of these are impressively fantastic features. Wishing that we’d acquired them sooner.

For the size and the price it’s not bad
By RealtalkwithJenni on Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2025
I’m not really impressed. It takes three hours to fully charge the portable charger and the battery wears down pretty quickly. I only got one partial charge out of the portable charger. It’s very easy to use once it’s fully charged. You just simply connect the magnetic ring on the back of your iPhone, but it does not charge through cases that are not MagSafe. But what I’m really not impressed with is how hot it got. I had a hard time holding my phone while it was connected to the portable charger. It made my hand so hot. I had to put it down. But for the size, it’s still a really good quality portable charger in a pinch, and as long as it has a full charge, when you need it, it’s dependable. But so far the speed hasn’t been very fast. It’s kind of honestly been a little slow.
