A Practical and Fun Smartwatch for Kids
By YoloSelfie on Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2024
This kids' smartwatch delivers a blend of practicality and entertainment, making it a solid choice for both parents and children. Setting it up was straightforward, thanks to the included 4G SIM card and clear instructions. Activating the SIM card was a breeze, and the watch was ready to use within minutes. This smooth process is a huge relief for parents who aren’t particularly tech-savvy. One of the standout features is the SOS function. With just a long press on the designated button, the watch automatically calls and messages pre-set contacts, providing an added layer of security. This is particularly useful in giving parents peace of mind while their kids are out playing or heading to school. Additionally, the GPS tracking through the dedicated app offers real-time location updates, which is invaluable for keeping tabs on their whereabouts. For kids, the ‘Bump-to-Friend’ feature is a fun way to connect with their peers who have the same watch. It allows them to exchange messages, emoticons, and even make video calls. The wide range of features, including a camera, music player, and voice recorder, ensures they stay entertained without needing to reach for a smartphone. Battery life is impressive, lasting up to two days with moderate use. This includes a mix of location tracking, messaging, and a few calls throughout the day. Charging the watch is also straightforward, with the magnetic charger easily snapping into place. For parents, this means less hassle in ensuring the watch is charged and ready for use each morning, and for kids, it means more uninterrupted playtime without constant reminders to charge their device. The watch is well-built and fits comfortably on small wrists. Its durable design should withstand the usual wear and tear from active kids. The vibrant 1.54-inch screen is bright and responsive, making it easy for children to navigate through the different functions. Additionally, parents can set ‘in-class’ hours to minimize distractions during school time, turning it into just a regular watch. The combination of safety features, fun functionalities, and reliable battery life makes this smartwatch a versatile choice for parents looking for a dependable communication tool and a fun gadget for their kids. The added bonus of being able to monitor location and communicate directly with the child, along with the ease of setup, makes it a solid investment for families.

9/10 features don't work and they charge your card with no notice
By Kayla Rose on Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2024
I got 2 of these watches for my boys that are on the spectrum so I could have a little bit of piece of mind when sending my 3 year old (that tends to elope any chance he gets) to preschool. I activated it 2 weeks before I gave it to my 3 year old so I had time to get to know the ins and outs. I didn't know which plan to get so I called customer service, explained to the guy what exactly I was looking for out of it and asked which plan he would suggest to meet those needs. The response I got was "you should get the service that suits your needs"😐 I just picked the first one since they were extremely unhelpful. Once my son started wearing it, i notice that his gps lagged terrible, it wasnt updating his current location and when id try to restart his device, open the guardianship video, or even call his watch it would pop up a message saying "device is offline or may be powered off" or "in call" other times it would show his location was over 2000 miles away. Fast forward to today I've had it activated for 3 weeks, my son has ONLY worn it to preschool so 6 days (18 hours combined) and I noticed a 5 dollar charge not even a week after I gifted the watch to my son. I called customer service and they told me it was because my son exceeded his text limit..my son is 3..he does not text, I did not text him so i dont understand how he exceeded it or why i was blindly charged with no type of email or text warning/notice. Overall I am not pleased! I now have to disappoint my boys by taking back their birthday gift
