JVC 30W Illuminated Portable Wireless Speaker

I am sitting here typing on my computer, listening to the late Maurizio Polini playing Chopin on my new Bluetooth speaker. A little earlier I carried the speaker into the kitchen, while it played the Chopin. I always wanted to be able to select what music I wanted to hear with breakfast but I only had a radio and even though my radio has a good sound, it never seems to have the exact music I want to hear. I not only listened to music that tested the sound like “Also Sprach Zarathustra” but I also tested the tonal range. It ran from below 50 hz to above 16 khz. (For the latter I enlisted my son’s help since my ancient ears have a high frequency loss.) I did not test the accuracy of the volume across this tonal range. It seemed pretty good to me for a small speaker. In fact I’m considering using this speaker for some presentations of my videos in place of the speakers I usually lug around. According to the instructions there are several other modes available like wireless stereo (which requires two speakers),USB, and even SIRI. I didn’t test these. The speaker has a variety of light modes that flash across the speaker, including a mode with no light. I set the speaker for no light because I don’t like the effect. Unfortunately when I turned it off and turned it on again, the color effects had returned. Despite the pulsating light, I found the sound of this small speaker quite pleasing.
