smart TV antenna
By Casandra on Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2025
I've been using this antenna for my Smart TV for a couple of weeks now, and honestly, it has exceeded my expectations. I live in an urban area where the signal isn't always the best, and this antenna has been a simple and effective solution for receiving free-to-air channels in high definition without paying a subscription. Installation was very easy: I just had to connect it to the TV's coaxial port and search for channels from the settings menu. In less than 10 minutes, I was watching several national and international channels with surprisingly clear picture quality. Something I really liked was its slim and discreet design. I placed it behind the TV, and it doesn't take up space or disrupt the aesthetics of the room. It also comes with a long cable, making it easy to place it in the spot with the best reception. As for performance, I receive between 20 and 30 channels (this varies slightly depending on the time and weather), including HD channels. I haven't had any noticeable dropouts or interference, which I think is excellent for an antenna at this price.

Doesn't pick up VHF channels
By Sergio on Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2025
First let's get something out of the way for this and any other antenna that claims thousands of miles of range. That's utter BS, as at ranges of 60-70 miles or more, the curvature of Earth makes picking up signals impossible unless you install the antenna on a skyscraper or something. Now on to this antenna specifically. I should've known better that these types of small indoor antenna would have trouble picking up VHF, but they claim it should, so I gave it a try. I live about 24 miles from the broadcast towers so the antenna has no issues picking up the UHF channels in my area, and I have it installed on the window of my bedroom (second floor of my house) that's facing the direction of the towers. I then couple that with a Tablo device. This combination works great, and the reception quality of the UHF channels is superb. Not picking up channels 7 and 9 and their substations is a real deal breaker though especially at the price this is selling for, as those are two of the big 4 broadcast networks. So unfortunately I'll have to return this and go with a slightly more expensive antenna that also has the rabbit ears.
