REOLINK 4K Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor System

Not terrible, not amazing. The 5 month battery life they claim is not even close, I turn mine on most of the lowest power consumption settings and have minimal motion alarms, and mine lasted about 2.5-3 weeks tops before I had to recharge them. You pretty much need to buy the solar panel unless you want to be taking these down and charging them every few weeks. Which can be a pain due to how they screw into the base. The motion detection isn’t great, I have the sensitivity turned way up and it can only detect fast movement about 15-20 feet away, if the motion is slow, the camera tends to miss it. Sometimes it’ll go off from a shadow moving in the wind but can’t detect a car turning around in front of my house. Usually it only catches the last second of movement and won’t show you anything leading up to it. I have the cameras installed as recommended by Reolink. I have also had issues with the saved videos not being found and having to re-format the memory cards in the Hub a lot. It’s been okay since the last update but some of the motion detection videos still don’t get saved or are inconsistently saved between the camera’s access and what’s saved on the Hub. The 4k image I will say is very nice quality but I usually have that turned off due to the added power consumption. Okay for the price, but a lot left to be desired for a home camera system in 2025
