Do not waste your money because the seller will not replace!

Bought this hunk of junk for my husbands bday. Used the first time and it would not register a temperature under 400 degrees. We thought, huh, maybe we used it wrong and reset the device, removed the app from our phone and downloaded it again. 3 weeks later we use it again, same situation, it gets up to 400 degrees and never regulates properly. Luckily we have a built in probe on our smoker but thought this would be awesome to use. But, we were wrong. Went through Amazon support who put me in contact with seller/manufacturer. Absolutely useless, product was out of its “return window” so not hi, bye, kiss my white you know what, just “nope can’t replace it or refund”. I asked the seller if that’s how they do all their business, still no response. Do not purchase, I have no idea how this got a top rating but it’s absolute garbage and so is the seller. Shame on Amazon for allowing junk to be sold and not replaced.
