The full game appears to be on the cartridge, however you still need to update to have the correct textures, menu UI, enemy models, and lighting. otherwise the game launches with things like stone blocks being pure white. besides that my gameplay experience is up to the first boss, when i beat the game i'll update this review. my experience so far was very clunky, however that was primarily because i was learning to play the game, the combat is at its own pace. If you have played Vampyre you know what im talking about, its not like bloodborne and dark souls where you can lay on the pain when you feel like it. some enemies will out right mop you if you try to play it like Darksouls. the only thing i dont like is the lack of a Field of view option as sometimes the camera gets wonky . There are also obstacles at the start of the game like crates and campfires that the player can get stuck in, forcing a reload. The sprint mechanic is also hard to control, ending with many clumsy situations where the momentum just sends me sliding off cliffs. its nothing i cant overcome though. Instead of a straight up soul/currency system for leveling you have perk cards similar to Remnant called blessings. weapons are also made stronger using infusion stones for upgrades, its rather straight forward. I wouldn't call this a bloodborne or darksouls clone but more of a vampyre clone just from the pace of the combat along wit the stun gameplay where you can stun for critical hits. overall the game is fun so far, and offers a decent challenge. definitely one of those git gud games. Graphically its about the same as Remnant from the Ashes. if you like dark souls, remnant , or vampyre i would recommend trying the game.
