Got my JBL Tune 720BT's today. Got them charged, downloaded the App, and connected to my phone via BT. The workmanship and sound quality is awesome for their price. However, unless I'm missing something, I think that the EQ that is included with the free App is just pretty basic at best. After trying it out (the EQ) for a few minutes, I turned it back off and turned on my Poweramp EQ which has way more features and options. With it, the headphones sound great and I'm very, very glad that I purchased them. Prior to buying these, I had been using a pair of (nice) earbuds to listen to my music. But, no matter how nice they may be they always to bother my ears with extended use. So, I got these JBL (over the ear) headphones in hopes that they would remain comfortable for longer periods of time than the in ear earbuds did. I think they will, but only time will tell... 😀 👍 Update (a couple of months later): Well, I've been using these new JBL headphones for a couple of months now (+/-), and they're still as awesome as when I tried them for the very first time. I work 6 nights per week, and I use them every night while at work. So, they get lots and lots of use. They sound great, and have never had any battery issues. I do charge them once per week whether they need it or not (and most of the time they've still got a pretty good charge left at the end of the week, but like I said I charge them again anyway). Also, I thought for sure that I bought them just to give my ears a break once in awhile from the pain which the earbuds were giving my ears. But as it turns out, as of yet I haven't had any reason to go back to using the earbuds. These new headphones are so comfortable and they sound soooo much better than the earbuds and the battery life is much better, too!!! I am well pleased with this purchase and I would recommend these JBL headphones to anybody and everybody who wants an awesome deal. They're the real deal, for sure. A great product for a very, very fair price!!! 👏 👍

Decidedly Unremarkable after being worn for half a year.

They REALLY are cutting back on good material! I’d give them a 50/100, really. Broke after six months— the swivel, which, evidently, is all that keeps the earphone itself from separating from the little flimsy joint, snapped off after I picked them up and they caught for a second on the edge of a flat-headed lamp. I looked it up, and this is NOT an uncommon problem, it seems! If you’re looking for long-lasting headphones which will serve you until their final fleeting moments… don’t look for that in plastic. Last time this happened to me I dropped my mom’s 30-year-old Sony’s on a hardwood floor from five feet. Incidentally. Twice. One side broke each time. I mean, after taping them back together— here’s my review on how they work, besides that flaw in durability! The sound itself is good. I guess. I’m a student, not a professional audiophile. The bass is pleasant. Even before they broke, the band began to slowly stretch and the ears grew farther apart, meaning they’d constantly slide around my head. Again, haha; plastic! When I press them to either side of my head and let go, I can feel them drift apart a little. Not off of my head entirely— well, they wouldn’t be if one side wasn’t crooked with gorilla tape— but still, I doubt this aids their sound leakage. Paranoid about people hearing what you’re listening to, you freakish enjoyer of sound? Handle these like sensitive swans of glass mixed with the ashes of a phoenix and you’ll get somewhere. Hyperbole. I’m sure keeping them in the carry-on-case I was not provided would have done wonders for their lifespan. I’m actually quite sad their exterior production is so poor. I like the sound quite a lot. When I first got them, I’m sure they must’ve been spectacular— tight to the head, very enveloping. Which they are! When functioning! I am bitter and spiteful. Attatched is the culprit of breakage alongside the broken headphones, in the manner I always stored them. I can probably still choke a few weeks out of these before I do my research this time. OH! also, photos of the buttons- and some things on their functions. The charger is beneath the adjusting ring around the top, which is only inconvenient when it’s late at night and i am very tired and irritated. The pause button skips a track when pressed twice, and rewinds or goes back when pressed three times. four does nothing. holding down the power button for long enough enables pairing mode. it may pair to more than one device at once. handy dandy! I never used the headphone jack, to be honest. no phones nowadays have those. pardon my ugly curtains. they are to be replaced soon. good luck finding some old reliables!
