Great Controller, Software could use a little work.

(These are my opinion's of the controller, I used AI to help clarify my review) So far, my experience with the controller has been largely positive. Initially, I encountered an issue where the joystick didn't offer full range of motion when connected to the Xbox. This highlighted an area where the software could be improved. To start, it's important to ensure you download the correct software for Xbox control (a step I overlooked initially). Once connected, I found navigating the software challenging as there was no clear guide on how to adjust various settings. It took me some time to figure out how to optimize the range of motion on the stick. Providing a tutorial for first-time users would greatly enhance the user experience. Despite this software hurdle, the controller itself performs admirably. It boasts smooth operation, with responsive buttons. The additional buttons on the back of the controller are a welcome addition, and the ability to create multiple profiles tailored to different games is a definite plus. Overall, aside from the minor setback of grappling with the software, I'm thoroughly impressed with the controller.

One of the best controllers available... until it stops working

I bought this controller hoping it would be a controller I could keep using for the rest of my console's life without worrying about stick drift, and this was a fantastic controller that I was happy to use for as long as I used my xbox. I loved this controller, Like LOVE IT love it, which makes it all the more sad that it broke in less than a year, I bought this in July of 2024 and the right trigger stopped working in March of 2025. Very disappointing as I was taking good care of the controller and truly loved it. I do not treat my controllers poorly, neither of my 1st party Series controllers have had any issues in the years I've used them, but this one just up and broke on me randomly while playing Split Fiction. I liked the programmable buttons on the back and the great dpad and excellent sticks, and I will miss them when I'm back using the 1st party controllers, but at least those still work and won't stop anytime soon. I thought we were out of the era of 3rd party controllers being the cheap throwaway "little brother controllers" but I guess not. Heartbroken about this one because I genuinely loved it when it was working but I don't have the money to replace it with a new one.
