Got this successfully installed on my first try. Always wear surgical gloves to make sure fingers don't get any oil or dirt on the adhesive side. Due to its small size, it's kind of hard to manipulate and I didn't get it entirely 100% correctly lined up when I first put it on, but luckily I was really close, I hadn't pushed down anywhere yet (just kind of dropped it into place) and the adhesive is just not quite sticky enough to have locked it in and I could use my fingernail to move it a few millimeters into the correct positioning. The sticky tape (to remove glue) is a little big and honestly maybe a tad TOO sticky because you really need to pull it off and it's a bit of a struggle when you're trying not to move too much to stir up too much dust or debris.

Installation is prone to ruining adhesion

I figured coming form Pelican, it would be tough, an well made, It 'appears' to be very touch. Unfortunately once you remove the protector from the wax paper it come attached to, you are at the mercy of your fingers to not misplace or have it go flying out from your fingers, Mine immediately popped out from between my thumb and forefinger landing (of course) sticky side down on the soft cloth I had the pixel 8 pro laying face down on top oif to not scratch the screen. Looking at the protector, it was covered with lint on the sticky side rendering it useless. They could learn alot from other brands (Zagg for one) that come with great methods of how to install without ruining the protector trying to install it. For the price, it's a 'Nope' for me. Now to try and find a camera lens protector for the pixel 8 pro, that has a proper mounting process.
