They didn’t work on my printer

I think brother did something on a firmware update that made it to where it only prints properly with a brother toner cartridge. I never had a problem until I installed the latest firmware. I tried 3 different companies toner cartridge and none of them printed right. So I bought a brother toner cartridge and it prints perfectly. I can’t believe they did this. I’m sure this brand of toner cartridge works fine

Toner leaks, damages drum, and stains paper

This compatible TN-760 toner started leaking even before installation — visible toner powder on the roller right out of the box. After installing it into my Brother DCP-L2550DW, I immediately got gray background and black ghosting, even on the back of the page. The drum was coated with excess toner, and now I may have to replace it prematurely. The cartridge releases toner just by flipping it over, which is unacceptable. My hands and workspace were covered in toner during handling. Clearly a manufacturing or quality control issue. I’ve used compatible toners before, but this one is by far the worst. It may be cheaper, but it’s not worth the risk of damaging your printer. I’m giving it 1 star because it’s technically new, but functionally useless. Photos attached — the mess speaks for itself.
