Thus far, Exactly as advertised and Exactly what I wanted!

Out of the many earbuds I've ever purchased, the Technics EAH-AZ40M2-K are a strong recommended buy. There are so many things just done right with these buds. Starting with the form factor of the case; it's small, easily pocketable and provides 3 extra charges. Overall, the buds are also well designed and fit snugly in my small ears. Technics provided enough extra ear tips making it easier to find the the specific eartip that should suit your ears. Overall, these buds sound really good and have an app that allows you to fine tune music playback to your liking as well making other adjustments. Additionally, these buds have fast pairing with up to 3 devices. I've only tested the buds with up to two devices simultaneously, but will test out three soon. The only thing that's not as good is the noise cancellation. it's okay at best and for the price point, it's decent but not comparable to some other name brands with stronger cancellation. Overall, for the money, these buds are a really great value. In comparison with some other buds that I own, these buds are a solid buy with features and function that will be hard to match at the same price point.

Microphone still very faint after hours of troubleshooting

The sound quality is good. I can hear phone conversations and music. Unfortunately, the people I am trying to talk to can't hear me. The microphones pickup my voice, but it is very faint even at max volume, so I can't use these for phone calls. I've spent several hours trying to fix the problem to no avail. The fit is the same as my Apple earbuds that have good sound quality for both microphone and speakers. Tech support sent me a very long response with many things to try, several of which I told them I had already tried in my initial query to them, so the response was more general. Unfortunately, none of the additional steps corrected the problem with the microphones. I do not recommend these unless you have a lot of free time and have another headset for calls.
