OtterBox Apple Watch Case Baby Blue

I’ve liked Otterbox’s other stuff but cannot recommend this item at all, based on our experience. Stay Away from this one! Paid $16 plus tax originally for this - my wife’s Otterbox watch case. She’s very careful and has a work from home desk job so her watch has a pretty good life. This case broke in two places around the crown (see photos). Had unit for 2 months, so no returning it and had to seriously dig to find Otterbox support info. Once I did, their "Lifetime Warranty" looks great in headlines but the fine print is “Your OtterBox product will be replaced at no charge to you except for shipping, handling and applicable taxes.” That shipping and handling fee is $9.99 plus tax (tax on warranty replacement shipping and handling fee… reaaaallly???) - over 60% of the price new… for something they could easily mail USPS with a forever stamp, or two at most if using a bubble pack envelope. Their warranty site claims shipping & handling is $15 but they’re being nice and giving me a $4.99 discount down to $9.99. Gaslighting… big time. Having been a big fan of Otterbox, I’m feeling VERY taken advantage of right now. I bit the bullet and paid the extra $10 to basically purchase the product again - their lifetime warranty BS solution. Once received and applied, this unit broke in a different, seemingly much stronger point in only TWO DAYS. This product is total crap and Otterbox should be ashamed for even offering it. I guess it's a huge revenue model/generator for them if other folks are suckers like me and pay twice for the same terrible product, only to have it break continuously - until they are no longer willing to pay again and again for a "warranty" replacement that will only last days... As I said at first, I've always been a big fan of Otterbox products but this experience has now soured me on the brand entirely. I will no longer support Otterbox with any of my purchases. At least, not until they actually offer something that resembles customer support and actual warranty. As well as products that consistently represent some semblance of quality, which this is opposite of that. STAY AWAY.
