This just works! Now I can play CDs in my new car!

I have hundreds of music CDs that I could not play in my 2023 Audi. Car manufacturers have inexplicably stopped offering CD players as an option or as an accessory. The Homlab player fills that void. I had no success with three other players I tried. But I plugged this one into the USB-C port inside the Audi's console and it powered up; I inserted a CD, and the track numbers and times appeared on the car's touch screen. Sound quality is superb, and it fits snugly into the center console with no wires showing. An adapter is required for that, also available from Amazon: CableCreation adapter cable, 6-in length, USB-C 90-degree male plug to USB-A female connector." The Audi does not show the CD title or the track names. but I don't mind that at all, The car's touch screen controls work to control it. This is a well-made and rugged product that delivers on its promises.

Stopped working after 2 weeks

The CD player worked fine when it was received. I used it for a about three weeks (not daily, only when on the road on the weekends), and it stopped working. It would not release the CD. I turned it downside and the CD finally came out. It would not accept this or any other CD after that. I have replaced it, but am very disappointed with the short life span. I ordered two at the same time, one for my car and one for my husband's, and his is still operating fine with no problem. The sound is good, and I like that it knows where you left off when you switch to another media source and then eventually go back. But it should have a longer life span than approximately 20 hours of play.
