Pelican iPhone 15 Case Clear

I am a fan of Pelican products, but their phone and tablet cases have always been sub-par. The fact that this case is made and sold by Case-Mate, makes me wonder how much involvement the engineers and designers at Pelican had at all. First, the case is slick and the material it is made from has no grip or traction to it at all. I hope the 16ft drop rating is accurate, because given how slippery this case is, you will probably drop your phone a lot if you use it. Second, using the side buttons on your phone with this case is frustrating at best. The buttons feel stiff and mushy through this case without giving any tactile feedback. Third, for how thick this case is, it barely protects your screen edges at all. The lip over the edge of the screen is very small, while the ridge around the back of the case is huge. The designers probably made the ridge on the back so tall to protect the camera lenses, but the most important part of your phone is hardly protected at all. Last, the phone fit to the case is quite loose. It barely snaps in place and requires minimal effort to take off. You don’t have to snap or pop the phone out of by he case, so much as give it a gentle push. I cannot recommend this case when similar offerings from other brands exist which are made much better.
