Assassin's Creed Mirage Launch Edition

as a longtime fan of the series i was both happy and disappointed in this entry . it feels more like an AC game of old which was nice , the collectables and dumb side stuff existed but it wasn't so over bloated like newer entries and i found it to be an easy platinum trophy. that said the narrative was pretty lack luster , i didn't love valhalla before this due to its disjointed narative and over bloated nature but i did think it was good in terms of the modern day and isu BS thats normally in these game which i'd frankly a sucker for . This game however has next to none of that , we get an opening monologue from desmond's father and then a tiny biit at the end , no out of animus stuff ... which honestly ...i'd be ok with but the characters in the game itself just aren't memorable outside of Roshan your mentor and frankly i think shes only memorable due to her actress just being great. also the movement doesn't feel as great as older entries , what was acceptable jank due to being able to climb Everywhere isn't as acceptable in this where you can't . needless to say this game definately feels more like expensive dlc like it was ment to be originally before getting spun off to be its own game. that said even with its weaknesses i was still happier playing this than i have been with an AC entry since syndicate so thats something
