Bright, beautiful, sony quality

I ordered the “renewed” version and actually received an A80CK ~ which is the same, but has the premium backlit remote with the find my remote feature. a nice bonus! Firstly let me say this TV is PLENTY BRIGHT. yes, even in daylight. Yes even with windows. If you understand even a little bit how to navigate the menu and adjust settings, it is plenty easy to make the tv bright when you need it, and more accurate and a brightness corrected when it’s dark. Honestly I don’t think I’d ever need a brighter TV, unless I was watching outside at noon. The tv looks great, the OS is fast and user friendly, and it works awesome with my xbox. I highly recommend.

Purchased this TV July 2023 knowing it MANUFACTURER refurbished. I also purchased the assurance three-year protection plan. The TV stopped working last month October 2024. we called Asurion. They came out with parts to fix it but the serial numbers are crossed out with a sharpie so Asurion refused to fix the TV. we contacted beach camera and were told they have to be notified of problems within 45 days of purchase. How are we to know the serial numbers were Mared through. do not purchase from beach camera they sell defective uninsurable garbage. after many correspondence with Asurion. They have finally agreed to refund the original purchase price. Our next TV will not be refurbished and not purchased from beach camera. Also, Amazon was no help.
