I am truly blown away by how good these feel
By Amar Andrew Singh on Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2024
I will always prefer wireless speakers, I can move around and not worry about accidentally ripping my cord out. I used to have some Turtle beach headphones that were amazing but the cord used to always be my issue. After many variations of different headphones I decided to try a Steel Series since I have seen them talked about by Linus Tech Tips. Here are my thoughts: 1. Immediately as I took them out I found them very small looking compared to my previous headphones. I normally require pretty large headphones since I have a large head. 2. Upon putting the headphones on I noticed that they were insanely comfortable, the ear cups were just right for my ears, the even turned a bit to actually fit flat on my ears, the cushion was extremely comfortable. The only issue I had was to pull them down a bit was very stiff but once that was done it was great from there. This really shocked me as I am accustomed to larger headphones requiring time to adjust to but these immediately I felt comfortable. 3. Connectivity - There are two types of connections, one using the usb dongle and the other being bluetooth. After trying to parse the manual, I eventually discovered that there are two buttons for power, one for bluetooth and one for the usb dongle. The initial setup with the usb dongle worked smoothly. Bluetooth worked fine the first time and then I ran into an issue trying to pair it to a second device. After some googling I realized that the bluetooth had two modes, one mode just turning it on and another for pairing mode (for pairing you have to hold it down for about 10 seconds). After I figured that out it worked like a charm. 4. Sound Quality - The headphones sound amazing, either that or I just been using crappy headphones for too long. There wasn't too much base and it was clear as can be, there is even a noise cancelling effect when you wear them. 5. Long term connectivity - I did notice that the connectivity dropped once on me but I am not sure if it had something to do with me being out of range a bit or the call I was getting on my phone. I haven't noticed anything since. 6. Price - They are a bit pricey but so far I think they are worth the money and I am looking forward to see how durable they are. Overall, these are great headphones and I enjoy them immensely.

HEADPHONES BREACHES YOUR COMPUTER AND RECORDS WHAT YOU'RE DOING! DO NOT BUY!!
By Steven W. on Reviewed in the United States on March 16, 2025
After having these headphones for a few months I've had zero issues and works phenominally and without issue. I decided I wanted to download the firmware for these so that I can track the battery life. That ruined my headphones forever. The application has multiple times tracked what I have done on my desktop. Not only that, but it now and then shows me a recording of the things I've done, the friends I've chatted with online, and worst of all my own voice. I've never in my LIFE had have a pair of headphones actually breach privacy so hard! Even after turning it all off, the audio became WORSE! I could barely hear my friends speak and sometimes the volume fluctuates! After digging into the settings for nearly an hour, I've realized that there was a setting deep in the underbelly of that application that actually has AI that fluctuates the audio. Unacceptable. Simply turn it off? NOPE! It stealthly turns back on every time I turn on the computer or replug the headphones in. Uninstalling this application even breaks the headphones, making them unusable unless I have the stupid application open. So I simply bought a $30 pair of wireless headphones online and never looked back. This is a joke, you should just plug in headphones, download the firmware, and have everything working properly without having to fix your settings, let alone be scared it'll record you doing your taxes! 0 stars. Do NOT purchase!
