Homeworld 3 Collector’s Edition

This is some of the best model work ive seen in a collectors box set. The mothership is outstanding. It even has USB lights for the bays which I was unaware of. The game itself is a continuation of 1 and 2, so of you wanted to know what happens after that, this is your ticket. And its a good story just as the first two were. The gameplay remains mostly the same except for small tweaks like the resource system. Which now uses controllers and collectors as single units. Makes online play more focused on combat, which is kinda nice for a change. Oh and that lithopane, its actually colored not just white, what you see in the product pic is what it actually is. And its good too. I was lucky enough to see the 1 star reviews before the comment in them was taken down. These were someone who didnt look very closely and didnt see the product key (or threw it away), so they gave it a 1 star. Citing they didnt get 72 hours of early play because it wasnt included... Its in there. Look at your documents. While nearly $200 USD is a good chunk of money in today's economy, what is included is very goid quality stuff and the game itself is (I cant believe im saying this having bee raised in 80's and 90's era game prices) is worth the $80 for the standalone game. And yes, the fleet command pack is included in here if youre looking at the Steam prices. Its also stable. As far as modern AAA release janky-ness goes, this has non of it. Its a fully baked game. Patches will come im sure, but no crashes or game breaking campaign bugs, or anything that ive seen so far in over 24 hours of play. If you played 1 and 2, and are a fan of the series, yes, get it. You wont regret it. So happy with this thing.
