Wyze Cam Floodlight with 2600 Lumen LEDs
By mastarayray on Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2024
I recently added the Wyze Cam Floodlight with 2600 Lumen LEDs to my home security setup, and it has proven to be a game-changer in more ways than one. This innovative product seamlessly combines powerful lighting with smart surveillance, offering an impressive solution for enhanced home protection. First and foremost, the brightness of the 2600 Lumen LEDs is truly remarkable. The floodlight illuminates my outdoor space with a clear, crisp light that effectively wards off shadows and enhances visibility. This feature not only provides an added layer of security but also contributes to the overall safety of my property by deterring potential intruders. The integration of the Wyze Cam adds a whole new dimension to the floodlight. The camera's 1080p HD resolution ensures crystal-clear footage, allowing me to monitor my property with clarity and precision. The wide-angle lens captures a broad field of view, minimizing blind spots and providing comprehensive coverage. The ability to control the camera remotely through the Wyze app adds an extra layer of convenience, allowing me to check in on my home from anywhere. Setting up the Wyze Cam Floodlight was a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly Wyze app. The step-by-step instructions and intuitive interface made the installation process straightforward, even for someone with limited technical expertise. The app also offers customizable settings for motion detection, allowing me to tailor the system to my specific security needs. One standout feature of the Wyze Cam Floodlight is its two-way audio functionality. This allows me to communicate with visitors or potential intruders directly through the app. The clear audio quality ensures that my messages are heard, providing an additional means of interaction and deterrent. I appreciate the thoughtful design of the Wyze Cam Floodlight, which includes weather resistance to withstand the elements. The durable construction gives me confidence that this product is built to last and will continue to perform reliably over time. In conclusion, the Wyze Cam Floodlight with 2600 Lumen LEDs has exceeded my expectations in terms of both lighting and security. Its powerful illumination, coupled with the smart features of the Wyze Cam, makes it a standout choice for anyone looking to enhance their home security system. With easy installation, user-friendly controls, and robust performance, this product has become an integral part of my overall home protection strategy. I highly recommend the Wyze Cam Floodlight to those seeking a reliable, versatile, and effective solution for illuminating and safeguarding their outdoor spaces.

Cannot stay connected to internet and require power cycle every few days
By RealReviewsBYTruGeek on Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2024
This is a problem with Wyze across their entire product line that they just cannot solve. I really tried to like Wyze, it has wide range of selection of devices, easy to install, good video quality, and lower purchase price and subscription compared to Ring. But they all share the same fatal flaw that they lose internet connectivity every few days or so, so it is useless for people going on vacation or who don't live in the same house where the cameras are installed, as once the devices are offline, the only way to get them to reconnect is by physically power cycle the devices at the power plug. So Wyze products are essentially useless for the second home or rental properties, or for people who are on the road a lot. I have a full collection of Wyze products over the past few years, including multiple flood lights, Cam v3, Cam Pan v3, doorbell and doorbell v2. They all worked great for the first few days (some can stay connected for a few more day than others), but they all eventually fail to stay connected to WiFi for more than a week without needing to power cycle at the plug level, since the remote command on the app to reset does not work when it's shown "Offline". Interestingly, certain Firmware update versions stay connected better than others, but since Wyze pushes out FW updates so frequently, it's just a roll of dice. The failures occurred when they were connected to Verizon Fios in my first house northern Virginia, and then again in my second house in southern Virginia. At first, I thought was an issue with the Verizon's gateway/wifi that I have at both houses, but I just encountered the exact same issues with the new Wyze Doorbell v2 and floodlight connected to AT&T Fiber in my new place in Florida with completely different equipment. To further prove that Wyze cams are the problem and not my home internet, I also installed Ring products in my Virginia as well as in FL houses, and rarely do the Ring cameras and floodlights drop connections, and when they do, they almost always recover themselves without having to manually power cycle them. I would say in the 3 years of ownership of various Wyze and Ring models, all Wyze products drop internet connection every few days and require plug/unplug reset; while Ring Doorbell required the plug/unplug reset only once, and Ring flood lights and Outdoor Plug-in Cams never failed. The Ring is more expensive to buy and subscribe, however, unless you are able to flip the power plug every few days, I recommend stay away from Wyze products. Ring is a true tool that you can count on to work when you need it, while Wyze is more of a gadget that's not ready for prime time.
