great alternative to a foam roller after a workout
By lisagat on Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2022
I ordered this massager to use mainly after workouts as an alternative to the foam roller. It definitely does a great job at targeting specific muscles that need stretching. It's a bit clunky and requires plugging in but those do not seem like a major issue after feeling the ease in muscle tightness after using this. This comes with 5 massaging ends-muscle ball, deep tissue, curved, tri-point, and acupuncture. I tried each one and found I liked the muscle ball as it gave me the best stretch and was the most comfortable to use. This is just my preference. The 4 modes and speeds are fairly basic. The lowest speed setting is a bit too low and basically stops its vibration once pressure is applied. The remaining 3 speeds all felt about the same to me. The modes are just a start-stop in the vibration going from the lowest with a longer pause in between. For me the modes seemed to do nothing special, but I'm sure there has got to be a benefit to it. So far I have been using this for about a week on my quads, calves, and hamstrings after an intense leg workout and on my upper shoulders after boxing. I definitely feel the difference in my muscle stretching and ability to push harder the next day. I do wish it had a pouch or drawstring bag for the entire unit including the additional parts and of course it would be cool if it were cordless so I could take it along with me. I can definitely recommend as an alternative to the foam roller for targeting specific muscles.

Cheap quality and way too heavy
By Amy on Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2022
The massager is too heavy and big for my purposes. I have petite hands and find it difficult to hold one handed when in use. My arm gets tired from using it for a short period of time which really defeats the purpose. The handle is also incredibly long and adds unnecessary weight. The material it is made of is also a cheap plastic. For the price, I expected better quality. Because if it is corded, I also need to sit close by an outlet to use it and it is more annoying to use when I need to switch sides with the cord looped around. A cordless rechargeable version would be much preferred. There is decent power vibration from the massager though and I like that there are different power levels. Regardless, I still cannot use this for an extended period of time because of the weight.
