WOSPORTS Trail Camera with Night Vision

Tested this in many different ways by adjusting settings for a week. It never once recorded anything after dusk. Started with alkaline batteries, then moved on to lithium batteries. Still didn't work at night. Used a 12v adaptor & set it up inside in a dark room. It occasionally took a picture in the dark but no video. What's the point of a trail camera that's meant to be used outside in the woods to record animal activity that mainly happens at night when this doesn't work at night? From what I can find online there's no external battery pack for this model, only an option to literally plug it in to an electrical outlet in the middle of the woods. Even the settings chosen (during daytime use) didn't work correctly. It didn't detect movement or take photos or recordings as quickly as it was set for, and it didn't record all movement either. Contacted customer service 3 separate times over 2 weeks (they promise they'll "try to get back in 24 hours") - never once had a response from 3 different emails. The chat option on the website has never worked. The SD card it comes with only has enough space to record about 50 pictures and a few 10 second videos, so you have to buy one of those. 1 star solely bc the daytime picture & video is very clear & it comes with a strap so you don't have to drill it into something when mounting it. Otherwise it's completely useless.
