Great tower speakers from Polk!

Excellent floor speakers from Polk! I have the Signature Elite series speakers and I couldn't be happier! Some may say they are a budget or low to mid tier speaker, but they sound as good as my friends SVS prime pinnacle towers for half the price. The key is all in using a quality amplifier. These speakers don't need a lot of power to shine, but they will gladly take it! Awesome soundstage when paired with a marantz reciever/amplifier running 5.2.4. 2x ES60, 2x ES20, 4x ES90, 1x ES30

Not worth the money IMO

Decent sound except the highs are very sharp... "WAY to sharp!" they need a EQ to not sound like pots and pans falling down stairs through a mega phone. Good thing I got them for $200 each if you pay almost $700 for a pair then it’s not a good purchase. I would love to talk to the engineer who chose the tweeter because it overpowers everything at higher volumes. I made a 6.5 bookshelf speaker from Skar TX65 with no crossover and a powered subwoofer for the price of one Polk ES50 and it stomps them extremely hard in sound quality. If I did not drop one and scratch it bad, I would send them back.
