As a stand for casual usage, holding your phone or small tablet while you watch videos or something, this thing is good.I couldn't find any possible way to adjust the height, including coming here to read the other reviews, then trying to figure out how they're reporting they can adjust the height. It looks like it's *possible* that the two upright parts could slide against each other, but they're locked 100% solidly together on my unit and I tried pliers, pushing on the tabs with a flat screwdriver, and everything I could think of as an engineer to get the top part to release and slide.I failed entirely to adjust it and spent at least a half-hour of dedicated time trying to figure it out.If you want a stand that holds the bottom of your device about 5.25" (~135mm) from the tabletop and allows easy adjustment of tilt, this stand is good and would have gotten five stars. If adjustable height it important to you, well, I couldn't figure out any way to adjust it.
