Lasts SO Long. Great Quality
By Rusty on Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2025
I bought this controller on June 1st of 2022. 3 years later and the ONLY issues I've encountered is the joysticks falling apart(still usable) and RB is starting to stop working. Otherwise? 10/10 controller. Unfortunately having to buy a new one, but if you want a controller? DEFINITELY buy this one. I absolutely love it, and it's lasted me 3 years alone

Last 2-3 months

To start off, I found this controller on sale for about 1/3 the price of a Microsoft Elite controller, and I read the mostly positive reviews, so I gave it a shot. I'm always a fan of saving money, and at the start, it seemed like I made the right choice and I was ready to never go back to a $150+ controller. Then, about 2 months into owning the controller (I use it maybe an hour a day... Maybe), while playing warzone with friends we all heard a brief 'alien' noise, then I heard nothing... Something got fried inside the controller, and no matter what I tried, the sound was dead. Plus, where the paddles connect on the back of the controller had broken, making the two lower paddles unusable. I contacted their customer support, walked through a little troubleshooting, and they sent me a replacement. I was pretty happy overall, as I like the feel of the controller and the paddles were easier to use (before the bottom two broke). Fast forward about 2 more months, and I have developed bad stick drift and the same issue with where the paddles connect on the back, again. You can see what I'm talking about in the picture. What is apparent to me now is they don't actually stand behind their warranty. I contacted them about the issues, and they told me that they already replaced the controller, and that's all their policy allows. I reached back out to them with a link to their own warranty policy, asking them to show me where it says they only replace it once, and I haven't heard back from them now (because, surprise surprise, it does not say that anywhere). EDIT: they said they'd make an exception for me and send me another (third controller in 5 months), and made clear that's it. End of warranty. 2nd EDIT: my third controller in six months just died... Audio is gone, and the buttons now don't work as they should (pressing 'A' actually makes it seem like you're using the joystick, for example). LESSON LEARNED... I would have given this 5 stars a month into my purchase, and I bet that's where all of these great reviews come from, but it's obvious these are cheaper than others for a reason... All 3 controllers have stick drift and paddles breaking. You get what you pay for in this case. I was looking to save some money as the roughly $200 Microsoft controller is a lot pricier, but that lasted me about a year and a half of heavier use. I'm not hard on the controllers by any means, and I'm now 2 for 2 with them only lasting about 2, maybe 3 months, and their customer service went from great, to non-existent... Be warned - you'll save some money and be happy for a while, but spending more money on a nicer controller is the way to go.
