(NEW) Monoprice 8K Braided Ultra High Speed 10ft HDMI 2.1 Cable

Several of the reviews for this particular HDMI cable said the same thing: it wasn't seating right in the port and would disconnect with a slightest touch or movement and not stay seated. I knew what I was potentially getting into. The upside was I finally had a sturdy enough cable that I can move around the room overtime without wearing the cable out so quickly. What makes it not seat right is that it's so sturdy that it's too heavy to stay in the port. It's almost as if it should have safety tethers on the end to attached to the laptop or whatever we're connecting to just keep it seated. So it's a great cable and it does what it's supposed to do but you have to be very still and you have to sort of have the device and cable in a position where it's gonna stay connected. I wouldn't have minded returning it but life got a little too crazy busy to to do so on time, so I'm getting used to it and it's OK. The only semi concern I have is that it's potentially damaging the port overtime and I may not be able to connect other things to that port.
