Brown spot of death after only 5 months

Initially, this was a cool projector we used daily. We purchased back in december of 21. I cant find any aftermarket suppliers that sell the new lcd display for this that isnt more expensive than the cost of the projector. Was hoping to grt a year out of it before having to replace, but about 3 months in is when i noticed a little brown spot on the screen that has only grown to take up about a quarter of the screen now. Maybe if we didnt use it daily, we could have gotten a few years out of it.

We’ve had this since July and it already quit working. I think it was refurbished because someone else’s stuff was still logged into the Roku stick. and no help from customer support. I bought the brand new one, it did not say refurbished. Just don’t buy, spend more money on a better one it’s worth it trust me
