I made this purchase 4 years ago. Frameo is still free and just added another feature for sending formatted pictures to loved ones frames. Its always stayed free and hasn't changed terms of service. The connectivity is great and the features are well thought out. Truly an outstanding company behind a great product. We got one for each of our family members and would gladly purchase and recommend more!

Cheap construction & won't read thumb drives.

The frame arrived in new packaging yet the corner was damaged and one corner was separated. At first I thought this was by design so you could remove the frame to access ports. Nope. Upon removal, the other corner separated immediately as it had so little glue holding the press-board frame together. The cavity where the ports are found is too tight to place a thumb drive of normal length is without a flexible cord. After getting a flexible cord from Radio Shack it does not read a thumb drive directly anyhow and everything must be uploaded to the device. This limits the number of photos you can have ready for display, even more so if you include video.
