Bluetooth Speakerphone w/ Touch Control

These days, I work a lot from home or on the go. Having a hands-free microphone/speaker that is loud and clear is an asset. At its most basic, the PALOVUE iConf is a high-quality Bluetooth 5.0 speaker and mic. It is solid but compact and travels easily in the included round storage case. Either plug it in with the attached USB cable that wraps around the base for storage, or run it off the long-lasting battery that is charged using the same cord.The iConf is a great device. It has already proved its worth in my home office. The loud clear speaker, sensitive 360˚microphones, and advanced echo and noise-canceling technology are far superior to just putting my phone on speaker. Better than my laptop as well. It connected to my iPhone automatically via Bluetooth the first time I turned it on. Alternately, you can use the "B" button at the 6 o'clock position to connect. It works great for music too -- just bear in mind it is tuned for clarity of voice so the midrange shines while deep bass and high treble aren't as powerful. Sound from this device is best described as crisp and legible with a surprisingly spatial character. Wireless range is simply amazing. I had to carry it 3 rooms and away in my home before it started to cut out. That's about 35-45', walls and all.The iConf is versatile in numerous situations. I use it in my home office for conference calls and Zoom meetings. Its microphone array is exceptional at picking up a voice from any direction and at a distance. I now prefer to use it when I want to make hands-free calls that don't require headphones. When not being used for work, it handles the tunes nicely. If a call comes in I can quickly answer and turn off the tunes with the press of a single button. My daughter can use it for remote schooling meetings, and it obviously can be taken on the road or used in meetings with a group of people. It works with no drivers to install right out of the box so it is as simple as can be. While only about 5.5" wide and 1.5", it has surprising heft and feels solidly constructed. A rubber foot pad keeps it from sliding around on slick surfaces. I expect it will last and look forward to getting a lot of use out of it.~ Kort
