I don't know why anyone would want to live without this!

Okay, so I'm not exactly a qualified techy or electrician. (That's my disclaimer) However, like every other household, I have laptops, cellphones, Tablets, and more, and the usual 'power strips" were under foot -- literally. This product provides power surge protection, inserts into a standard three-prong outlet, and comes with a screw to anchor it in — although I did not have to. Just don't yank your cords out, and it stays in fine. Five outlets are immediately available, as well as charging ports of various sizes. My cell uses the "C" charger, and it's a breeze to charge it now! I will be ordering at least two more for other rooms in the home. It's sturdy, functional, and at a most reasonable price. Save those power strops for some hidden place behind your entertainment system. This is the way to go!

Throttled to uselessness
By Jeremy on Reviewed in the United States on September 19, 2025
hhIf you want the energy coming from your socket to be completely throttled, this is great. For me, I like my phone to be able to charge. It would not charge past 20% with this wall charger. Even with my power brick, it would not let me have the same amount of power as before. I was excited bto have a USB-C input to charge my device, but if it barely charges more than 10%, it's useless. I thought I was going to have 5 more sockets and USB outputs, but instead I got 5 sockets and the USB outputs choking (throttling) the power that my devices could access. So the USB-C output is useless because it barely charges my phone even if I use my power brick, it still gives the laughable throttled amount of power to the device. So if you thought you were getting 5 sockets with the same amount of power as before, you are dead wrong like I am. My Laptop doesn't even charge with this much throttling. What a joke.
