NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Travel Tripod Kit

I was not expecting much for the price but this is very solid and sturdy. The legs are solid and very well built. I did not realize that one leg is setup to be removable for use as a monopod but that is pretty awesom. The legs can lock at various angles. The ball head seems like it would support a full sized camera easily and it moves smoothly. The 90° is much nicer than i imagined with the tube actually being captive so it cannot be popped out and hard to reinsert. If I was to guess the price I would have put it in the $70-100 class so I have no idea how it ended up selling for this price. It is not at all cheap. and It even comes with a carry case. It exceeds the capabilities of both my tripod and monopod that I currently had significantly. Great purchase for the price!
