Best Camera Stabilizer in the Market - Lots of features for the money!!
By KF on Reviewed in the United States on June 19, 2021
I've used a lot of camera stabilizers for work. Webill, Crane 2s, and Ronin SC are the ones I'm most familiar with. A fellow enthusiast recommended that I try the RSC2. I gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised: Physical Aesthetics: Best in class workmanship - great feel in hand and very balanced. Awesome design! The front pulsator can be assigned to a lot functions, such as pan/tilt rotation, focus motor, and ISO. Controls are placed in the perfect spot where I can reach by moving my finger, just a very convenient spot for everything. Overall fantastic experience and design well done. Additional Positives: The stability, smart functions, and overall performance is legit. Payload is very good. The composition, durability, and reliability are way better than any camera stabilizer that I have used, especially when compared to the Zhiyun Weebill S. Stabilization: The stabilization is much better than the gimbals I've used by supporting medium telephoto. I shot a couple of videos and found that stability is really good. Foldable design: I can shoot from any angle without other accessories. I found a 1/4 threaded port after folding, it’s possible to connect with other accessories. More to come on this. Battery: The claim is that the battery can last for 14 hours. I haven't tested that either....someone get me some coffee if you want me to test this out. However it does support USB-C fast charging so I charge it during lunch breaks and it's suffice to last the rest of the day. (It was completely dead when I charged it over lunch, got me to 50%) Compatibility: I saw comments saying that some latest camera models have problems with the gimbal but I never experienced this myself. Just make sure to download the latest firmware which during the initial set up, I was reminded to do so. All in all, I highly recommend the DJI RSC2 and I'm glad my coworker/fellow enthusiast recommended to me - it's the best gimbal when compared to other models within the same price range. I truly feel this is more of an upgrade to the Ronin S than SC. The performance, functionality, and adaptability is the best in class for this segment and price range. Good luck!

Shaky Footage
By Caleb on Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2025
Been using this Gimbal for almost two years. Footage is generally shaky, have learned that you cannot move much at all without this thing shaking. Been putting up with it but I'm at my breaking point. Clients have complained about shaky footage but my last shoot was so bad it's almost unusable. Going to take me twice as long as it should just to find shots that aren't horribly shaky. You can see in the video that walking as delicately as I can this stupid thing screwed my footage up worse than if I'd taped my camera to a chicken. I use a Sony a6400 with a zoom lens that's about 4 inches long with the DJI 2 on top. Certainly less than the 6.6lb weight limit. I'm so fed up. I really wish I'd freehanded this job. Looking into the DJi 4 Pro which runs about $900 as a replacement. Worried that it'll be poor as well but I don't have a choice at this point. I have the Mini 3 Pro drone that I love and I like the mics- with the exception of audio cutting out every 60 seconds with the built in record mode- but this gimbal is just failing me so bad. Not sure if it's the age of the device, less than two years, but clearly I'm frustrated.
