impressive sound bar - low profile, big sound

bought this to replace the vizio soundbar 2.0 stand. replaced the Tv in the bedroom and the newer model has feet instead of a single base stand and the 2.0 soundbar stand was a bit too tall to fit under the new tv. So I was looking for a smaller profile 2.0 soundbar and this one looked perfect. after receiving it and setting it up, I would say it also sounds perfect. I didn't want a subwoofer in the bedroom and I didn't want a large or lengthy soundbar to take up the entire bureau. This soundbar checks all those boxes and more. I highly recommend it for low profile setups like the bedroom or guestroom. very impressed by the sound it delivers. At this price point I would even recommend it as a cheap upgrade to any flatscreen tv's built-in speakers. I own all Vizio TVs so there is remote integration right out of the box, but it was easy to pair up with the fire remote as well.

Decent sound, frustrating remote

Overall, this sound bar is fine, not great. The sound itself is good value for the price. But the remote control will randomly stop working for a few minutes at a time (usually when something is too loud and I need to turn it down quickly), then start working again just as randomly. Can’t figure out why. Not the batteries. Anyway, beware.
