I had purchased this item a while ago, and it still works great. Great to use it as a power supply, and it's very easy to use. The cord length is great. It connects quickly, and it's very durable. To those working remotely, it's extremely easy to carry around.

Would not recommend for video out in most cases

Be warned, this is 4k 30hz. Verified this with my DP laptop and Lenovo legion go. You can do 1440p 60hz, in fact this hub forces it even if you use 1080p, if your display supports 1440p. If not, 1080p works fine. But at 4k, it is 30hz max. 48gbps HDMI cables, that directly to my laptop work perfect. Just this hub, does not. USB ports work good, but slow 25mb SD card writes. When inside other docks and my legion go, get more 80mb speeds. For extremely basic needs, it does work. But for most people, would not recommend
