Awesome for the price

The subwoofer is way more effective than I thought it would be and the sound is great. Set up was easy enough. Only thing I can complain about it on random shows or movies, the dialog is not as easy to hear so sometimes I switch to my tv speakers. I went through all the setting to figure out a way to remedy this with the soundbar, but I couldn't figure out a way to improve it. It doesn't happen often though.

ZERO STARS EARNED, I WAS REQUIRED TO GIVE ONE STAR. I like the JBL Flip5 smart speakers I have, so I bought a JBL 2.1 sound bar with subwoofer. The remote could not be opened, and the sub would not pair with the sound bar. It was “renewed”, I assume by Harman/JBL. I contacted Harman/JBL customer service, and explained my problems thoroughly. Initially they seemed very helpful. They said the remote was defective, and they would replace it if I sent receipt and serial number, so I sent them. The only option to run the sub is by Bluetooth. They explained that the sub and sound bar were paired in the factory, but sometimes they need to be re paired manually, and they sent instructions to pair them manually. I followed the instructions for pairing carefully. I explained that after attempting to pair manually, they paired, but the sound bar turned off instantly when I turned on the sound bar. In response, they sent the exact same instructions, and asked again for the serial number I already sent before. I attempted to pair manually 7 times, same bad results. Again I sent the serial number, and again carefully described how the sound bar turned off when I manually paired, and when I restarted the sound bar, the sub instantly un paired. Again, there response was to send the same instructions for manually pairing, and again they asked me to send te serial number, which they’ve asked for twice. No other comments, remedies, orSuggestions. Again no replacement remote. Again, I attempted to re pair sound bar and sub, 10 times, with exactly the same results, they would not pair and play. The sub woofer never made one soundl What they call customer service does not service customers. I’m returning the system for full refund. Their customer service is useless. They’re essentially denying that the equipment they renewed and sold me has a problem. It has 2 legitimate problems, and I’m absolutely disgusted. I will never buy any Harman JBL equipment again.
