Tech21 Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 12 Pro Max

I was hesitant to buy this screen protector because in the past I've bought the cheap ones and they've done a great job, but because I was buying the tech21 case I figured I'd splurge on the screen protector as well. I was also excited about the applicator, seemed pretty simple. After using the applicator I had a ton of bubbles under the protector, and did my best to smooth them out as per the instructions. I had one bubble right in the middle that just wouldn't go away, so I decided to just live with it and figured maybe it would work itself out. Not even an hour later I noticed the bubble wasn't as bad, and then upon closer inspection there was a small scratch/crack right where the bubble was earlier. I hadn't done anything with the phone other than normal use. I didn't put it in pocket or in my purse, and it didn't come into contact with anything sharp that would even cause a break/scratch. I've submitted a support request with the company directly and haven't heard back, but it's listed all over their site that screen protectors aren't under warranty.
