Steep price but amazing quality
By Ethan on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2022
Not sure about all the bad reviews, but the buds work as described. Material and build quality is excellent as expected from any Bang and Olufsen product. Sound quality is also great, with a balanced sound that can be tuned through the app to your preference. Connection is strong and easy to pair, I've had no problem with the buds connecting to my phone every time I take them out of the case. The app is intuitive and does exactly whats needed, no complaints there. As far as comfort goes, buds are comfortable and very stable, find out which tip and fin combination best suits you, put them on properly (as with most true wireless earbuds you need to twist them into your ear, almost like you're screwing them in) and you should have no complaints. My right ear canal is shaped differently but thats not an issue when I put these in properly and securely. As far as noise canceling, if you are looking for active noise cancellation, that is absent here, but for me that is not an issue, the passive noise cancellation is more than enough and at less than half volume, most sounds are cancelled out. There are 4 transparency modes, the lowest being none and the highest essentially muting the music, but the middle 2 settings work well in allowing you to listen to the earbuds while also hearing your surroundings. The touch controls are intuitive and easy to use, albeit a bit sensitive but this is only an issue when putting them on and even then the design of the buds makes it easy to put them on without touching the controls. The case is amazing quality and great design, it wont slip out of your hands like many wireless earbud cases, but the nice design comes at the price of being a bit bulky for just carrying in your pants pockets. Single bud mode only works with the right earbud and there is no auto pause when you take them out of your ear, something much less expensive buds have, and while these shouldn't be deal breakers for most, if it is important for you, keep that in mind. Battery life is long lasting and the buds are IP57 certified which means they are dust resistant and waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, which while I do not recommend you go swimming with these, it does give an added peace of mind and lets you rinse them under the sink if they get very dirty. Overall I am very satisfied with the E8 Sport wireless earbuds, and while the price may be steep, if you have the money to spend, and know what features you want, these are definitely quality earbuds that won't disappoint.

Waste of Money
By GG on Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2021
***Update*** - After almost 2 week trial period, verdict is the same - waste of money. These earphones are so uncomfortable and the difficulty encountered with Bluetooth connectivity is irritating. Simply have to return these horrid earphones. Lesson learnt - sticking with Bose products. First issue - have to download B&O app in order to connect earphones to either iPhone/iPad. Second issue - lack of dual Bluetooth connectivity. All my Bose headsets connect automatically to available nearby devices simultaneously and allows seamless switch between devices. With E8 I had to disconnect from iPhone to switch over to iPad and this was after several tries. Third issue - annoyed by fact that charger cable is separate from the case. Bose provides compact charging case with its devices. Summary: Sound quality - good but no better than my Bose Sound sport or Quiet Comfort 35 Noise cancellation - better than Apple AirPods Pro but again comparable to Bose Q35 ANC Battery life - acceptable Comfort - acceptable Conclusion: After first 24hrs of use, I have serious purchaser’s regret. B&O Beoplay E8 Sport are ridiculously overpriced. For price of $350, I have simply confirmed that Bose is the better brand for both sound, aesthetics and convenience. In conclusion, giving 3 stars just for the sound quality but otherwise would not recommend this product; and certainly not at current market price. Save your money or donate it to charity. Wish I had.
