When purchasing USB cables, many inexpensive ones are suitable only for charging devices. They are often missing the data lines that are needed for full functionality. This was important for me when connecting my phone to the vehicle's navigation system, where data exchange is required. This cable provides the full functionality required by my Android system. As a bonus, it is longer than most similar cables.

Never Lasts More Than A Few Months

Works well and charges relatively fast but is not durable. I checked my order history, and I’ve had to replace this cable every 5-7 months. The casing always inevitably splits open near one of the connections, exposing the wiring. I don’t travel with it; while used daily, it stays plugged in on a desk, so it doesn’t see a lot of wear and tear to justify being so unnecessary disposable in my opinion. I finally decided to pay more to get something that will hopefully last at least a full year.
