Sad to say this game feels lacking to me, despite its remastering and reimagining

Outside the amazing graphical upgrade and restructuring this game got, it is still just Resident Evil 3. Unlike RE2 remake, this game doesn't feel as amazing, and despite how much things have changed from the original version to this, there is something, an element, that makes this game feel almost boring, and I really hate that. I wanted this game to feel as amazing as the remake for RE2, but it just isn't. It's got a decent pacing, but the game tries to make you slow down a bit because it is just so very short. It was frustrating, because the original RE3 I played back on the Gamecube felt okay, but lacking. This one just feels lacking. What saves it is the amazing graphics, and the voice acting this time around.
