Nice little inverter.

Just installed and tested the inverter, it had no trouble starting my fridge with a 1000W surge, make sure to use a properly sized cable from the battery and all connections must be tight enough. I can't comment on the included cable since I used mine which was bigger anyway. Let's see in the long haul how it goes.

Peak power claim was false in my case

The 800W unit was not able to handle a 1200 watt inrush to start a chest freezer. It goes into low battery voltage shutdown. As an additional test I connected it to my car's battery with the alternator running but same result. It did work well as long as I stayed within the 800 watt rating. I returned the product and purchased the 700 watt model from Renogy and it handles the peak power perfectly. Don't count on the peak power rating of this brand, even the user manual says not to do so.
