There are some tradeoff (read) but great for the price!
By J. Torres Vega on Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2021
If this phone price is less than $300 (Jan 2021) it might be a great deal. I'll list my main pros and cons compared to other phones in the price range of 200 - 400.✅Great camera! Although the rear-camera is advertised with 48MP photos, the resulting photo is 12MP. It uses a technology (Quad pixel) where it combines 4 pixels to create an improved 12MP photo, look for videos. Telephoto option up to 3x zoom, and up to 4K videos. On the other hand, the selfie cam is 25MP or you can use Quad pixel and you'll get a ~6MP photo.✅Has a 3.5mm jack for headphone and audio is great but the quality decreases near 100% volume.✅Has NFC, a lot of Motorola phone lack of this so this is a plus if you use Google Pay.✅4000 mAh Li-Po battery, gives you a lot of play time and charges relatively quick, no wireless charging though but probably this would increase the price.✅The fingerprint is right in the screen, so you can easily unblock the phone with your thumb.✅The purple color is lovely! (if you love purple)✅Dual SIM, if that's something you are interested in. One of the SIM slots can be used for microSD. This can be a drawback for people that need to constantly change the microSD.✅128GB of storage! That's more than enough for the average user.⚠️It has no wi-fi calling, voice over LTE (voLTE) or video call from stock, but it might be fixed. This is important because at least in USA, T-Mobile and AT&T are deprecating 3G (in 2021 and 2022, respectively) and the network switches from 4G LTE to 3G when making a call. Fortunately (for me), this was fixed after all the updates were applied, which can take a while. First it will apply patches to the Android 9 OS then it will upgrade to Android 10, and finally will apply pending patches. At the end, the issue was solved. (I can speak only for T-Mobile USA).⛔On that note, NO 5G. Again, this is a mid-range smartphone.⛔The material in the back side love fingerprint residue, can be tedious to clean⛔It can feel a little bit heavy when using it for a prolonged time. It's heavier than a basic IPhone.

Awesome cameras - limited use after 2020 w/ T-Mo
By RnK on Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2020
This is a great phone for camera users. It takes great snaps and I enjoy using it for video, games and everyday apps. However, at the end of 2020 it will no longer work on T-Mo networks *IF* the carrier decides to not postpone their plans to stop all calling without VoLTE. Some reviews have said that the Android 10 patch has fixed the problem but it has only added WiFi calling (a band aid that will let you call from your home network or hot spot). So if T-Mo is your primary carrier, keep in mind this phone may only last a few months for calling on network.
