Best charger on the market!

The Anker PowerCore 10000 is a compact and lightweight portable charger that offers excellent performance and value for money. It features a 10000mAh battery, which can provide up to two full charges for most smartphones or one full charge for most tablets. It also supports Power Delivery, which means that it can charge your devices at up to 18W, which is significantly faster than traditional portable chargers. While specs promise 2 full charges it seems like I will often get 5 or 6. In my testing, the charger was able to fully charge my iPhone 13 Pro in just over an hour. It also charged my iPad Air 4 in about two hours. I was also impressed with the charger's efficiency. It was able to charge my devices for a longer period of time than other portable chargers of the same capacity. I primarily use the charger to keep my smartphone charged as I am streaming my daughter's softball games. It can stream a 2-day tournament with out even worrying about the cell phone running out of juice. In addition to its excellent performance, the Anker PowerCore is very well-built. It has a durable plastic casing and a cross-hatch texture that makes it easy to grip. The charger also comes with a USB-C cable and a travel pouch, so you can easily take it with you on the go. Strangely enough the pouch is extremely handy and one of the best features of the charger. Overall, the Anker PowerCore 10000 PD Redux is an excellent portable charger that offers excellent performance, value for money, and build quality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and portable way to charge their devices. Pros: Compact and lightweight Supports Power Delivery for up to 18W charging Fast charging performance Efficient battery life Durable construction Travel pouch Cons: None that I can think of Overall rating: 5/5 stars Recommendation: I highly recommend the Anker PowerCore 10000 PD Redux to anyone looking for an excellent portable charger. It offers great performance, value for money, and build quality.

Useless for some low-current devices (but Anker has exceptional customer-service)
By Outis on Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2025
NOTE: My initial one-star review below was modified to 3, in fairness to the vendor after they offered me a full or partial refund. My analysis of the product was purely in the context of my own operational needs (which are not specifically addressed in their sales description), and are no reflection on the overall quality of these banks as commonly used. As I have not yet found ANY similar product that will function continuously in a very low/zero-draw current mode, this is an area of opportunity for manufacturers to fill. ----------------- Just like the more common (and much cheaper) so called "power banks" that have no trickle-feed setting, after a few hours these Anker units AUTOMATICALLY SHUT OFF, EVEN IN TRICKLE MODE: So they cannot be used as rechargeable remote power supplies over long periods (weeks to months), even for devices with very low current-draw in standby mode. They are good only for recharging and powering higher-current USB devices over the span of a few hours. Why is that important? Because many very useful wireless devices with USB ports for alternate power-feeding tend to eat through expensive batteries like popcorn (that is, when not operating as "wired" via a plugged-in computer/server or AC-USB power cord). We're talking things like security mini-cams, trail-cams, motion-detecting alarms, etc. I already have a number of backup recharging banks for travel emergencies, and I never would have purchased these Anker units except for the idea of saving money by powering the wireless motion alarms that are the core of my home-security system. No such luck. If all you want is a portable charger, much cheaper options are available.
