Sturdy cable, and every bit as short as advertised

This is a hefty power cable, but it’s also short. I know, the description says one foot, but the length doesn’t quite sink in until you’re holding it in your hands. Luckily for me, I only needed ~8-10” of cable to reach the outlet installed right behind my ceiling-mounted projector. Having such a short cable helps to keep it looking tidy — important for something hanging in the middle of the living room.

The 1' length includes the plugs! About 7" of actual cord.

I'm giving this 3 stars because the length description is vague on what is included in the foot measurement. I was looking for 1 foot of "cable length" and not including the plugs on either end. The 1' length measurement apparently does include both plugs including at least 1" of the female side that fits inside the power supply or device you are plugging it into. Effectively there is 7" of cable length. It's useful if the device is going right next to the plug and you want to replace a longer cable for this shorter one without the need for coiling it.
