LG cursor style remote controller, cannot use two remotes! Single base stand, no dual "feet"
By WayneChicago on Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2020
Nice TV, I bought it in April 2020. Two things to know that may or may not stand out in other reviews. This is the only largest (75 inch) TV I could find of any brand that has a single stand beneath it rather than the dual feet models. I have a TV cart that is not wide enough to accept the larger TVs with twin flanking feet that are installed separately and are approximately 45 inches or more apart. This stand is 30 inches at its widest, and fits on my cart. It was somewhat difficult to install since it took two people to place the TV on the floor and then boosting the TV onto something (firm pillow) to lift it a bit while I installed the single foot...this will make more sense when you are putting it together. But its manageable, and once on that single arc-shaped foot, its pretty stable. Is it as stable with no wobble as two separate feet...no, it is not. If you live on an earthquake zone, it'll jostle with tremors. If you have little kids, this will work, but you'll need to secure it in the back (eg paracord to the TV stand in two places holds well because the TV is upright and won't start to tip with this set-up and thus the weight remains centered over the stand,, but do you own investigation and secure at your own risk and responsibility). But, all in all, the stand does work. The other thing to know is the, in my opinion, junky remote control. Its Bluetooth connected to the TV, and only ONE remote can be paired at a time. I always buy a spare remote and use it from our other couch, but other than on/off and volume control, the extra LG remote that is a perfect match for this TV and the original remote, does not change the channel, work the menu, or anything like adjust settings. Why? There is a cursor that shows on the screen when you point the Bluetooth connected remote, but second remote is not paired. Its frustrating. I can pair the new second remote, and it works fine, but then the original first remote doesn't work. I went online to research this on LG forums and, yep, its a known issue that two remotes cannot work with this model TV. Ugh! More of an inconvenience than meets the eye. I do not like overly complex remotes, and this one has a clicking scroll wheel and that cursor and seemingly many things that could, in the end, go wrong with it. Time will tell. The picture is vivid and great. The sound on the native speakers is very good, I honestly only use my Bose system hooked to it by digital audio-in cable when I'm watching big sporting events; for daily use, the internal speakers are absolutely fine and even have some bass. All-in-all, Im still pleased with the TV at this price point. Thank you. Good TV viewing.

Glare & Reflection
By USMc1775 on Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2020
The amount of glare and reflection produced by the screen makes viewing unbearable. If your viewing angle is anywhere to the side, the reflection and the glare that the screen produces completely washes out the picture. I am very disappointed with my purchase, you would think that with a high-end $3,000 TV you would be able to see the screen.
