Perfect if you have an HDMI source and a monitor with DisplayPort!

This product does one thing: it connects an HDMI source to a display with a DisplayPort input... and it does it very well! Keep in mind that this cable is unidirectional: it will ONLY connect an HDMI source to a display with a DisplayPort input; it will NOT work in the opposite direction. In my case I had a good monitor I wanted to use but it had only DVI and DisplayPort inputs, and my notebook has only an HDMI output. This cable worked perfectly. It is one of those "If you need it, you need it" products, and I'm glad it was available and at a very fair price. It seems well made and it works very well. I'd buy the same cable again.

Had another HDMI to DisplayPort cable from the same company, it randomly died. It was outside the return window, upon getting a new one, it did not work on arrival. I reinstalled windows, followed the manual, and what online forums told me to do. It did not work.
