OtterBox Galaxy S10e Defender Series Cas

I spent hours looking for a phone case that was made somewhere other than China because of my personal convictions about human rights abuses on the part of the Chinese government against their own people. Every country's government taxes imports and exports to some degree, so they stood to gain from the purchase of a product made in China. Multiple searches told me that the Otterbox Commuter was either made in the USA or in Mexico. The product description and details said nothing to contradict that, and the only response to the question on the product page concurred with that assessment. So I made the purchase and was very excited because I thought I had made a quality purchase (Otterbox does have a reputation for being excellent device protection) that my conscience could live with. The case arrived on the same day as my new phone, less than a week after my old phone broke due to being dropped. There were no markings on the box regarding the manufacture of the case and clip, but both the case and the clip say "Made in China". I am very disappointed, and am trying to find a suitable product that was made elsewhere so that I can return this. It is my opinion that the marketing was deceptive.
