(NEW) Uniden Atlantis 275 Handheld Two-Way VHF Marine Radio

Using the product every day for 8 hours due to my job. It is like the model Atlantis 270 in terms of overall usability. Good and clear reception, removable antenna, good transmission and communication with other vessels. After using it for three months, I have a serious problem. Battery status has totally 5 bars of juice. When at fourth bar of battery juice, the battery state drops quickly to third bar, then quickly to second bar, then first bar and then it turns off. This takes about an hour or so from the fourth bar to switch off!Happened twice so far, and it didn't happened before the three month period. It seems that the battery in this device was not maintained properly before purchase and it dies quickly if left to drain to fourth bar! Since I bought it I charge it regurarly and the battery voltage is always at maximum. Only two times it fell at fourth bar before recharging it! Uniden customer support outside America is non existent and batteries for this device are nowhere to be found(outside America) until the time of this review... This means I have to send back the device to Amazon for refund or use it in this condition... Overally disappointed!
