Really could have used some documentation with the product.

After MUCH frustration, I got this to work with my Baofeng UR-5V. The problem was with the CHIRP software, which requires you to download a memory file from the radio FIRST, and then edit THAT and upload the finished file to the radio. Also have to set the com port on the Chirp software to match what your computer shows as the cable port. This cable plugged in and worked after downloading the proper driver. I have Windows 11. PROBLEM: No documentation or guidance ANYWHERE with this cable. Go on the Radioddity site, and it is tough to find anything there, and what there is Chinese originated, and you know how that goes. Overall, I give this cable a Three Star rating for lack of support in the package. There is NONE.
