Cheapest insurance you’ll ever buy!

Seriously the cheapest insurance you will ever ever ever buy. These have saved me three times so far, once a window well that was flooding and flooding the basement, once a broken dishwasher that was dumping water onto the floor and once when my hot water heater started leaking. I have six of them and they are worth every single penny. They connect easily stay connected and I don’t think I’ve changed any batteries in the five years I’ve owned them. GREAT PRODUCT!

Needs base station to work

The Ring Flood Freeze looks like a great product, but I ran into an issue. It won’t work with the Ring app without the monitoring hub station, which I didn’t want to buy. If you’re already invested in the Ring ecosystem and have the base station, it’s a solid add-on. However, if you’re looking for a stand-alone Wi-Fi monitor, this isn’t going to work with the app the same way the Ring cameras do. It’s a bit disappointing if you were hoping for that simplicity, but if you're already set up with Ring, it could be a useful addition.
